We are seeking an experienced Senior Assurance Manager to join the Internal Audit team at HBF. This role will report into the Head of Internal Audit and offered to the successful candidate as a permanent full-time opportunity. This role sits within HBF’s Governance & Risk division.
This role is key in contributing and assisting in the evolution of the internal audit function to be a best in class function. The role will be a hands-on role and help embed internal audit best practice in the business through audit activities set out in the Internal Audit Charter, Corporate Audit Plan and Transformation Assurance Plan.
A key part of the role is to also manage and deliver the Transformation Assurance Plan which provides ongoing level of confidence that the Program is on track to Senior Management and the Board. This Program is key to the future success of HBF’s future growth.
You will have:
- Previous experience within a senior assurance or audit capacity within a mid to large organisation (health, insurance or financial services background advantageous) OR associate director / director level within an international accounting firm
- Tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline (any relevant post-graduate degrees are highly regarded)
- Project delivery and project assurance experience will be highly regarded
- Recent experience with internal audit partner model and program delivery
- Exceptional stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
