We have an exciting opportunity for an Eligibility Officer to join the Provider Relations team in this permanent opportunity. Reporting to the Team Leader Provider Support you will be responsible for providing support to hospital and medical providers by responding to inpatient eligibility enquiries received via phone and email in a professional, educated and personalised manner.
You will have:
• High level of customer service skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy with keyboard skills being essential.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people, including challenging external customers.
• Demonstrated ability to operate professionally within a team environment and proven ability to work individually.
• Demonstrated intermediate level of use in MS Office Applications (MS Office, Excel and Power Point) and Outlook.
• Ability to exercise initiative and take ownership for work and solving problems.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Health Industry
• Experience of HBF Systems, Business Rules, and Policies and Procedures
• Advanced MS Office software skills
