Our Solutions team has a fantastic role for a Release Manager to join the team on an initial 12 Month Fixed Term basis. This role will see you champion the release management process from the management of deployment into a protected environment to a change management of specific set of applications. You will lead the release life cycle from scheduling, coordinating, risk and the management of releases across delivery streams.
Reporting to Head of Solutions, the Release Manager will be responsible for but are not limited to:
• Chair the release planning forum and work closely with all release stakeholders
• Lead the release process for code through the development, test, pre-production and production environments
• Collaborate with IT management to drive the maturing CI/CD process
• Lead the effort of defining the strategic direction for release management
To be successful, the ideal candidate will have:
• Rich experience in working with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Excellent understanding of computer software, programming and software delivery lifecycle
• Proven experience of building Continuous Delivery (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
