The Opportunity
The Design Chapter at HBF is growing and maturing, and a requirement for a UX/UI Designer is needed to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. This is a great role for an experienced UX/UI Designer coming from either an agency or in-house organisation. This role will be critical focusing on the Transformation Program.

We’re looking for someone with a strong UX skillset grounded in knowledge of UX patterns and how they should be applied in practice, ideally with 3+ years’ experience.

About You
Reporting to the Experience and Design Chapter Lead this position will include the following duties:

• Employ user-centred design practices to ideate, elaborate design and deliver digital design solutions across any HBF digital sales and service mediums (mobile, tablet, desktop, iOS, Android, email, web app, dashboard, intranet).
• Lead cross-functional brainstorms, discussions and design reviews with external partners & internal stakeholders
• Translate research insights, business requirements and/or user goals into intuitive digital experiences.
• Design creative assets to support new functionality, enhancements and optimisations across HBF’s digital channels.
• Take ownership on assigned digital projects/initiatives, understanding the needs and requirements of the intended audience to ensure engaging, unique and relevant designs are delivered.
• Liaise with data and analytics colleagues to ensure appropriate tracking has been planned for Digital solutions.
• Design user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups to prototype for concept and user testing.
• An appreciation and keen interest in Accessibility/Inclusive design best practice
• Execute and direct visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to internal/external development resources
• Produce developer documentation, export out all digital assets and run through briefing sessions with developer resources to ensure understanding of user experience, content design, motion design and details of design are communicated thoroughly
• Utilise design and prototyping software to plan, create and execute creative concepts and prototypes.
