About the Role
As the Senior Manager Cyber Security Software Assurance at HBF, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering quality assurance services to secure HBF's solutions and operating environment. Your primary responsibility is overseeing the Penetration Testing and Application Security practices, ensuring the continuous enhancement of these critical services. By leading these functions, you will maintain a systematic testing program to provide comprehensive coverage of HBF’s security controls. You will collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the security programs while guiding the strategic direction of HBF’s cyber security initiatives.
You will play a key role in managing risk, providing authoritative guidance on application security, and ensuring that HBF's systems are protected from emerging cyber threats. Your leadership will drive improvement in cyber security capabilities, ensuring alignment with HBF's overall technology governance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Penetration Testing and Application Security practices.
- Develop and implement a systematic testing program to ensure comprehensive coverage of HBF’s systems.
- Establish strong relationships with external providers to enhance security assurance services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate technology-related risks.
- Provide regular reporting and metrics on cyber security performance, catering to various audiences, including executive committees and regulators.
- Drive continuous improvement in cyber security processes and practices to enhance overall business outcomes.
- Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
About You
You are an experienced leader in Cyber Security with a strong background in Penetration Testing and Application Security. You are skilled at managing risk, leading technical teams, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive security improvements. You possess:
- Proven experience in managing Penetration Testing and Application Security functions.
- Strong knowledge of Cyber Security and Risk Management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
