As a Principal Cyber Identity Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping HBF's identity security landscape. You'll design and implement cutting-edge authentication and authorisation protocols, collaborate with experts across the organisation, and lead strategic initiatives that ensure secure and seamless identity management.

 

About the Role

This position has a specific focus on identity security principles, solution design, and integration methods. You will develop and communicate strategies, roadmaps, policies, and guidelines aligned with HBF’s Cyber Security strategies. You will collaborate with solution architects, cyber security teams, and external vendors to implement fit-for-purpose authentication and authorisation protocols such as OAuth2, SAML, JWT, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, and mutual authentication.

 

In addition, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Securing web applications and APIs, adhering to OWASP standards and best practices.
  • Providing thought leadership and advising on identity and security across Technology & Cyber teams.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design secure solutions that meet business and security requirements.

 

Previous Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in identity solution design and integration.
  • Proficiency in high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#).
  • Experience with authentication and authorisation protocols such as OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management solutions like Saviyent, Okta, and CyberArk.
  • Strong knowledge of API security standards, encryption technologies, and key management practices.
  • Experience in applying industry standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS) in an enterprise environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Cyber Security, with industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA being highly desirable.
