We currently have 2 fixed term opportunities (12 -months and 6-months) working as part of our agile Business Analysis team, supporting enabling technology and divisional initiatives. As the Senior BA you’ll influence technology delivery within the change engine, focusing predominantly on broader technical and divisional led initiatives outside of HBF tribes and squads.
What you'll do
- Work collaboratively with the project team to analyse data points to support service improvements and validate design concepts
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand current pain points and future business aspirations
- Capture business requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria that adhere to HBF standards within agreed timeframes
- Work with technical team members to communicate requirements, support solution design, defect identification and analysis
- Document future state business processes

You are a seasoned Business Analyst with experience working within Agile delivery teams, bringing strong stakeholder management skills, a sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative, delivery-focused mindset.
Known for your disciplined approach to work, you thrive in dynamic environments and are adept at prioritising and completing tasks on time without compromising quality.
Your technical toolkit includes proficiency in Jira and Confluence, and you are skilled in user story decomposition, facilitating estimation sessions, and translating solution design diagrams into actionable technical stories. You have a strong ability to absorb complex information, apply analytical thinking, and deliver clear, effective problem-solving.
A knowledge of controls by design and risk management processes, along with high adaptability and resilience in changing work environments and experience in insurance or financial services would be a bonus.
