The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Member Relationship Consultant to join our Kalgoorlie team on a permanent part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Branch Manager Kalgoorlie and working within a close-knit team, you will be the first point of contact for potential new members to identify their needs and make recommendations on the right HBF products for them. You will also work closely with existing members to:

  • Review their cover
  • Process claims
  • Respond to queries

While promoting and demonstrating the use of online services. This role services members face to face and over the phone.

This role is offered on a permanent part-time basis of 31.5 hours per week and requires availability for shifts between 8.15am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. Upon starting the role, an initial training period of 12 weeks full-time, Monday to Friday is required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven ability in providing an outstanding member experience with holistic committed and empathetic approach
  • A comfort level carrying out sales conversations regarding HBF products and services to meet member needs
  • Sound software skills, with the ability to navigate multiple applications while serving members
  • Eagerness to learn, while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Consistency in demonstrating behaviours that reflect the HBF values
