As the HR Advisor, you will support all aspects of HR and end-to-end recruitment for subsidiaries of HBF. You’ll play a key role in helping our teams thrive by supporting leadership, promoting a culture of growth and innovation, and delivering exceptional HR support.

This is a fast-paced dynamic role where no two days are the same. You’ll enjoy a balanced mix of recruitment and HR generalist responsibilities, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.


What You’ll Do

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with leaders, providing guidance and support on HR processes, legislation, policies and Talent Acquisition.
  • Support the team in managing variations in employment conditions and employee life cycle events.
  • Support the Implementation and management of HR policies, procedures, and our Enterprise Agreement.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and on boarding for our Queensland based roles
  • Manage employee relations (ER) cases, including performance management and grievances.
  • Conduct risk assessments to help mitigate people-related risks.



About You

You are an experienced HR generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’re solution-focused, and confident in your decision-making, you’re committed to balance business goals with compliance and operational success.

You’re a strong, communicator and negotiator, skilled at managing stakeholders effectively keeping everyone aligned. You proactively track key metrics and SLAs, always looking for ways to improve.

With a solid background in HR and recruitment, and a relevant qualification, you’re comfortable working autonomously and making decisions in line with legislation and organisational policies.
