The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Head of Project Management Office, this role represents a career defining opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified Enterprise Program Director to join HBF in this newly created role.

Tasked with executing and delivering the vision of the Board and Executive Committee by successfully implementing HBF strategy, through the coordinated delivery of initiatives within the Enterprise program of work, this role will lead a team of program and project professionals, business and technical subject matter experts, to successfully implement strategic business outcomes.

This is a key leadership role accountable for ensuring appropriate delivery capability (including partner management) and quality assurance across an enterprise portfolio using both traditional and agile methodologies. This role will also be instrumental in supporting the design and development of an enterprise focused PMO practice for HBF.

Responsibilities include leading the design, development and execution of strategically critical initiatives through effective planning, decision making and leadership which requires deep experience of leading implementation of large, complex and business focused programs with clear focus on people management excellence.

Conveniently based in the Perth CBD, this role will be offered on a full-time 18-month fixed term contract basis, and offers a competitive remuneration package within a truly progressive organisation.

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have demonstrated experience delivering complex business and growth oriented programs of work and portfolios, using both traditional and agile program management methodologies.  You will be experienced in initiating and setting goals for programs and teams, aligned with the strategic objectives of the organisation, tracking and reporting on progress to ensure scope quality, time and cost objectives, are achieved.

Commercially astute with an analytical mindset, you posses excellent communication and presentation skills enabling you to develop and foster strategic working relationships.  As a true leader with proven capability to  lead and develop maturing delivery functions, you have a successful track record executing large, programs within complex environments and embedding change, sustainably.

Ideally, you hold a tertiary qualification in Business and/or ICT, certification in program delivery and, possess experience in a similar, business oriented delivery and change role within the banking, financial or insurance sectors, where you have been exposed to regulatory compliance requirements.
