As the Risk & Operational Resilience Manager you’ll take the lead in driving operational resilience and risk management for HBF Health, playing a key role in shaping how we manage risk and ensure the continuity of our operations.
You have proven experience in risk management along with analytical and problem-solving skills. You’ll use your high-level interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and have the ability to inform management decisions in the realm of risk management.
You are a confident leader, experienced in mentoring and fostering a culture of learning while sharing your expertise both with your team and the broader business.
Previous experience
- Experience in risk management, preferably within financial services or an APRA regulated institution
- Strong understanding of CPS 230 and other regulatory requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in implementing and monitoring risk frameworks, policies, and procedures
What you’ll do
Planning for Resilience: You’ll create, test, and maintain robust operational resilience and business continuity plans, making sure critical business processes stay up and running, all while aligning with CPS 230.
Managing and Mitigating Risk: Risk management will be at the heart of your role, you’ll design and implement risk frameworks, devise strategies to mitigate potential threats, and oversee the renewal of our commercial and corporate insurance programs.
Policy & Compliance: You’ll keep us up to date with the latest regulatory changes, ensuring our policies and procedures are always current and compliant.
Leading Incident Response: When the unexpected happens, you’ll be the one to lead the charge. You’ll help design business continuity plans, perform impact analyses, and coordinate the response to operational disruptions.
