As the Accounts Payable Officer with HBF, you will support accounts payable function for all entities, ensuring that invoices are processed, payments are made, reporting is delivered in a timely and accurate manner while providing general AP support to the business.
This is an 18-month max term opportunity based from our Perth Office with work from home options.
What you’ll do
- Process invoices and credit notes matching to purchase orders
- Ensure invoices have the appropriate approval that the appropriate procurement process has been followed
- Reconcile the Accounts Payable Ledger with suppliers’ monthly statements
- Process payment runs
- Prepare Payment times reporting submission and paper for Executive approval
- Liaise with Procurement team with queries as required
- Assist and support internal and external stakeholders with AP queries as required
About you
You are an experienced accounts payable officer with previous exposure to working within a large organisation. You are known for your strong attention to detail and ability to organise and prioritise a heavy workload with minimum supervision.
You are a strong communicator confident in engaging with stakeholders drawing on your account reconciliation skills to problem solve.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office as well as previous experience with Payment Times Reporting, Technology One, Oracle P2P or similar software would support your success in this role.
