As a Human Resources Business Partner at HBF, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to our Senior Managers, collaborating closely to deliver innovative, people-first solutions that empower teams to excel. Combining future-thinking with practical execution, you’ll champion initiatives that strengthen our workplace culture, boost engagement, drive high performance and build leadership capability right across HBF.

In collaboration with our Senior Strategic HR Business Partners, you’ll help deliver high-impact programs and initiatives that support HBF’s overarching people strategy. Whether you’re supporting talent processes, guiding teams through change or coaching leaders to confidently manage complex people matters, you’ll be instrumental in shaping an engaged, skilled and future-focused workforce. This role is based on a max term 12-month contract.


What you’ll do

  • Build trusted relationships with your stakeholders while supporting them to lead with confidence and empathy.
  • Support engagement, performance and capability initiatives that align with business priorities.
  • Partner with leaders to bring HBF’s leadership behaviours to life, fostering a culture of inclusion, wellbeing and innovation.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform decisions and measure impact
  • Collaborate with the People & Corporate Affairs team to deliver strategic HR programs.


About you
You’re a confident and proactive HR professional who thrives on connection, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
You’re a true business partner, someone who can think ‘big picture’ while navigating the practicalities of day-to-day people management.

You’ll bring:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Solid generalist HR experience, ideally partnering with Senior Managers.
  • Strong influencing, coaching and relationship building skills.
  • A track record of delivering people strategies that drive meaningful outcomes.
  • A flexible, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to navigate change and ambiguity.
