About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major enterprise ITSM transformation, replacing the organisation’s legacy ITSM platform with ServiceNow. This is a high‑profile, strategic initiative critical to modernising service management across Technology and enabling improved operational efficiency, automation, and user experience.
The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of the ITSM Tool Project including platform design and implementation, CMDB uplift, integrations, data migration, and organisational change. The role requires strong leadership of complex, multi‑stream delivery, senior stakeholder engagement, and disciplined execution aligned to ITIL best practices and enterprise governance.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the full project lifecycle, from vendor selection and solution design through to implementation, training, and transition to operations
- Manage a cross-functional team including internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful and timely delivery
- Work closely with the business and tech teams to align on approach and impact
- Keep stakeholders and vendor closely aligned on expectations
- Proactive issue resolution – leading the team effectively through decisions and priority calls
- Oversee vendor contracts, statements of work, and ongoing performance against milestones
- Communicate project status with clarity and transparency, risks, issues and key decisions to senior leadership and project steering committees
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards, including CPS230 and PCI-DSS
- Track and manage the project budget, financial forecasts, and change requests
This position is open to candidates in Australia (Perth preferred) on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
About You
You're a strategic and solutions-focused Senior Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex technology projects in regulated environments. You thrive in dynamic, cross-functional teams and are confident leading end-to-end implementations. Your approach combines technical acumen with strong stakeholder engagement and a sharp eye for compliance, risk, and value delivery. You are accountable for the successful delivery of the project and will drive the project forward with the team.
Ideally, you will have:
- Driven and focused mindset, working with both the working team and impacted stakeholders to provide a clear and well-planned roadmap
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate roadblocks and present clear options with impact assessments
- Experience managing vendor engagement, including selection, onboarding, and contract negotiations in regulated industries (e.g., health, finance, insurance)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills reporting to senior leadership and steering committees
- Industry-recognised Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of Teams, Sharepoint, Jira and Confluence for managing delivery and documentation
- Proven experience delivering ITSM solutions, with ServiceNow experience highly desirable but not required
