About the opportunity?

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Officer Finance who is responsible for performing the financial administration processes of the Health Fund whilst providing Members and staff with the highest standard of professional service and support in relation to products offered by see-u by HBF.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating bulk receipts runs for our member contributions.
  • Importing & actioning all messages sent from our banking partner.
  • Actioning Bank account and credit card rejections.
  • Manage, respond, and action all telephone, email & internet correspondence directed to the see-u health admin inbox.
  • Advising notice of charge and logging recs when refunds are processed.
  • Run arrears process to notify Members.
  • Action refund requests of memberships
  • Pay claims daily and issue remittances to Members & Providers. Review bank statements against system and action accordingly, this includes refunds, payroll and send correspondence for other roles to action.
  • Manage all financial claims adjustments including liaising with people directly involved.
  • Complete receipting and reconciliation of incoming payments
  • Manage contribution payment rejections and assist in establishing alternative arrangements for Members.
  • Complete an end of month process to assist Members & management.
  • Perform routine reporting and lodgement in accordance with legislative and procedural requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Moderate level of demonstrated skill and practical exposure to financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability in providing effective administrative support in a complex and diverse organisation.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills including a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, monitor and co-ordinate a range of administrative processes to achieve deadlines and desired outcomes.
  • Developed written, oral and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and to liaise with internal and external customers and employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to compile correspondence, reports and presentations using a range of software packages (Microsoft Office suite).
  • Ability to adapt and show resilience in a changing environment.
  •  Strong ability to build effective relationships
