12-Month Fixed Term Contract Part-time Opportunity (0.6 FTE)

An exciting Part-time opportunity has arisen within the Marketing Chapter at HBF. This role is responsible for the planning, crafting, and successful delivery of member communications. You will primarily handle service communications driven by legislative or regulatory obligations related to private health insurance fund rules, policy information and product features. Your goal will be to communicate key information, updates, and changes to the membership base, ensuring an optimised experience across all touchpoints in the member journey. You will also support key operational engagement journeys.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver regulatory compliant and effective member communications programs required to communicate business changes
  • Achieve agreed operational communications targets for delivery timeliness, regulatory compliance, and effectiveness
  • Understand and translate complex fund rules and product information into clear, simple and direct communication through the member’s preferred communication channel (e.g., letter, email)
  • Ensure content is compliant, aligned to best practice, the brand tone of voice, and within brand guidelines
  • Convey brand guidelines, particularly relating to design and format, to technical developers to achieve communication template builds
  • Advise on communications format, structure, and template setup and usability, including the use of variable fields and drop-down options

 

About You:

  • Experience in a similar communications role
  • Experience in leveraging market and customer insights
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practice customer experience and communication strategies
  • Proven ability in managing large-scale communications programs from development to completion
  • Conversant in the capabilities of CRM platforms, communication, and automation tools
  • Experience with technical products and services
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships.
