As our Finance Manager – Wellness, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of HBF’s wellness businesses, including Life Ready Physiotherapy and other wellness subsidiaries.
Reporting to the General Manager Group Finance, this 12-month fixed term role is both strategic and hands-on. You’ll lead the migration from Xero to TechnologyOne, supporting the uplift our financial systems and processes, and guide a high-performing team through a period of exciting transformation.
You’ll oversee the end-to-end financial management of HBF Wellness ensuring compliance, insight, and commercial excellence, while working closely with leaders across wellness to drive better decision-making and business outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Lead the financial systems migration from Xero to TechOne and support the ongoing finance transformation strategy
- Manage the finance function for Life Ready and other wellness subsidiaries, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely reporting
- Deliver high-quality management information, analysis, and insights to support strategic decisions
- Partner with senior leaders and operational teams to drive commercial performance and business value
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of finance professionals
- Oversee financial governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
About you

You’re equally comfortable in the detail and in strategy, and you know how to bring people along on the journey, whether that’s leading your team through change, collaborating with senior stakeholders, or driving new ways of working.
Here’s what you’ll bring:
- Several years experience in finance or accounting management with a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A CPA or CA qualification
- Proven experience leading finance transformation or system uplift projects (bonus if you’ve worked with Xero or TechOne)
- Strong business acumen and the ability to think commercially and strategically
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine talent for building trusted relationships
- A proactive mindset you don’t just identify issues, you find solutions and implement efficiencies
