The Opportunity

We’re seeking a curious, member‑obsessed Business Analyst to join our Member Connect Tribe and collaborate across squads and tribes to shape change that delivers value.

This role sits within the Business Analysis Chapter in the Tech Architecture & Emerging Technology division, reporting to the Business Analysis Chapter Lead.

Where You’ll Contribute

Within the Member Connect Tribe, you will advance contextual member engagement platforms in our CCM squad (Customer Communications Management) with delivery of high-volume, on-demand, and interactive service-based communications, with Omni-channel capability, ensuring risk‑aligned operation, data quality, and continuous enhancement in collaboration with Chapter Leads and Tribe leadership.

You’ll join dynamic, cross-functional teams where your expertise as a Business Analyst will truly shine. In this role, you will:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand current pain points and future business aspirations
  • Capture business requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria while proactively exploring how these can be streamlined through the use of emerging technologies
  • Work with technical team members to communicate requirements, support solution design, defect identification and analysis
  • Process mapping to ensure current state is considered and what future state would look like
  • Bridging the gap between technical and business language, ensuring everyone is aligned

You’ll be the key translator in this role – making complex concepts easily understood across all sides of the organisation.

This position is Perth-based on a full-time 6-month contract. There may be opportunity for contract extension or conversion to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Let’s Talk About You 

You are a seasoned Business Analyst with experience working with Agile delivery teams. You navigate stakeholder needs, lead workshops confidentially and have a sharp attention to detail. You are collaborative, delivery-focused and show positive behaviours. Known for your disciplined approach to work, you thrive in fast paced and ambiguous environments, and you prioritise and complete tasks on time without compromising quality. 

Your technical toolkit includes proficiency in Jira and Confluence, and you are skilled in user story decomposition, facilitating estimation sessions, and translating solution design diagrams into actionable technical stories. You have a strong ability to absorb complex information, apply analytical thinking, and deliver clear, effective problem-solving.

Previous experience in customer communications management is desirable but not required.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst who is not only skilled in traditional analysis techniques but also forward-thinking in leveraging emerging technologies. Key parts of these roles involve embracing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and uncover deeper insights from data.

Candidates should be curious about how AI can be applied across business functions and proactive in identifying opportunities where intelligent automation and machine learning can drive value.
