About the Role
We are seeking expressions of interest for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst, where you’ll play a critical role in optimising and maintaining HBF’s finance systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Acting as the bridge between Finance, Technology, and other business units, you’ll drive system improvements, automation, and data integrity to support informed decision-making and organisational performance.
In this role, you will:
- Administer and maintain core finance systems (TechOne Financials, Anaplan, ExpenseMe), ensuring stability, accuracy, and alignment with business needs.
- Execute system upgrades and configuration changes and contribute to roadmap planning in collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.
- Develop and optimise reports, dashboards, and analytics to enable timely and informed financial decision-making.
- Contribute to finance systems projects, including implementations, integrations, and automation initiatives, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver system enhancements and provide user support through training and documentation.
- Maintain governance and compliance by safeguarding financial data, supporting audit readiness, and adhering to risk management frameworks.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Expressions of interest are open to candidates based anywhere in Australia, however, Perth is preferred as this is the primary location of our Finance team.
If successful, this position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.
About You
You’re a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional with a passion for optimising finance systems and processes. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement to deliver solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and data integrity.
Ideally, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting and optimising enterprise finance systems, including implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Proven expertise with ERP systems (ideally TechOne Financials or Anaplan) and ability to query data using SQL for reporting and integrations.
- Strong technical proficiency across financial software, databases, low-code development, and data analytics.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in fast-paced environments.
