At Queensland Country Health we have a friendly and supportive work environment where we provide high quality preventative dental and general dental services from our practice in Townsville.

As a Dental Assistant, you will provide support while establishing long-term patient relationships with our valued client base. 

No two days are exactly the same, but here’s what you can expect:

• Providing chairside assistance with dental treatments
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
• Supporting infection control and sterilisation processes
• Assisting with surgery set-up and pack-down
• Helping patients feel calm, informed and cared for

We’re proud of the relationships we’ve built in the Townsville community, and you’ll play a big role in continuing that trust. This is a full-time position, and unrestricted working rights are required.


Your Experience

• A Certificate III in Dental Assisting or interest in completing
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a private practice, aged care or healthcare setting (prefered) 
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an empathetic nature
• The ability to work well in a team environment
