About the Role
We’re looking for a Correspondence System Specialist to play a key role in ensuring our members receive clear, accurate and timely communications. In this role, you’ll be the subject matter expert for HBF’s correspondence management system, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to design, build, maintain and support high‑quality member correspondence across multiple channels.
You’ll contribute to the ongoing enhancement, reliability and performance of our correspondence platform, helping deliver consistent and personalised communications that support an exceptional member experience.
This position is based in Perth on a Permanent basis.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing, developing and maintaining member correspondence using HBF’s correspondence management system
- Translating business requirements into effective correspondence solutions
- Building and updating correspondence templates, layouts and business rules
- Supporting projects, enhancements and ongoing maintenance of the correspondence platform
- Monitoring, investigating and resolving production issues within agreed service levels
- Preparing test plans, executing testing and managing defects through to resolution
- Maintaining documentation and ensuring governance standards and best practices are followed
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance member and user experience
About You
- At least 2 years’ experience in a technology development or application support role
- Experience supporting changes through a software development lifecycle and into production
- Basic programming or scripting experience (e.g. Java, object‑oriented scripting, XML)
- Exposure to HTML and CSS
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including investigating system and production issues
