HBF has an opportunity to design and establish an Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) which will drive best practice in the alignment of capital investment allocation, portfolio delivery outcomes and strategic objectives, at a whole of enterprise level.
Within the ePMO, the Strategic Enterprise Portfolio Analyst will lead the establishment of strategic portfolio analysis practice and will be an instrumental role in the design of the future state ePMO. Reporting directly to the Head of Project Management Office, this role represents an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified Strategic Enterprise Portfolio Analyst to join HBF in this newly created role.
Tasked with executing and delivering a strategic portfolio analysis and management practice within the ePMO, this role reports to the Head of PMO, and will lead a small team of portfolio analyst / support professionals to improve the standards, methods and tools used to monitor enterprise level portfolio health and performance.
This is a key leadership role and a central point of coordination for strategic portfolio analysis, planning and reporting within the ePMO, responsible for providing high quality and informed recommendations to Head of PMO, Senior Management Team and Executive Management on portfolio status, portfolio performance and implications of new or unplanned changes, to inform enterprise wide prioritisation decisions.
The purpose of the ePMO is to embed a sustainable, strategic capability which links the achievement of the HBF strategy to the management of its capital investment portfolio, using best practice methods and structures, organisation wide. To support the creation of the future ePMO, the Strategic Enterprise Portfolio Analyst will also play a key role in the end to end design process and future state implementation.
As a business oriented and strategically focused analyst, this role will lead and coordinate inputs from business and technical subject matter experts as well as HBF’s delivery and organisational change community, to support the design process, whilst fostering strong business engagement and working relationships across all stakeholders and partners.
Conveniently based in the Perth CBD, this role will be offered on an 18-month, full-time, fixed term contract basis and offers a competitive remuneration package within a truly progressive organisation.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have 5-10 years demonstrated experience in creating and leading data analysis supported by strong technical skills in the assembly of complex information and, communication skills in the compilation of reporting suitable for senior level decision making.
You will be experienced in leading and undertaking business analysis and design towards the development of organisational business solutions which support the creation of new capabilities and complex organisational change, using agile and traditional methodologies.
Commercially astute with an analytical mindset, you posses excellent communication and presentation skills enabling you to develop and foster strategic working relationships. As a true leader with proven capability to lead and develop new practices and processes in maturing functions, you have a successful track record executing change sustainably and leading multi-disciplinary teams to achieve outcomes.
Ideally, you hold a tertiary qualification in business with certifications in business and/or data analysis and, possess experience in a similar, strategically oriented analytical role within the banking, financial or insurance sectors, where you have been exposed to regulatory compliance requirements.
